She wasn't upset. She simply felt nervous, a little happy, and still weary of the strange boy, but she enjoyed knowing that she could scare that boy half to death if she really wanted to.

"Nakara! Mornie! Aya! Jasille! Darious! Brendt!" Barked Jazilyns voice from upstairs. Nakara was used to that yell, it meant they had 120 seconds to make their way into Jazilyns office.

Nakara stood up quickly and looked to the boy sitting at their table. "You better be here when we get back... And... If you touch EN-KNEE-Thing, While I'm gone and you'll be in a world of trouble." She then looked to Mornie as she bolted up the stairs to see what had gotten Jazilyn in such a tiff.

Mornie jumped up from the table and began running to go see what was going on. He treated urgent things urgently... Except this time he jumped up and ran so fast he knocked over his chair tripped before he even made it to the stairs. He groaned a bit and grunted as he tossed himself back onto his feet and began up the stairs. Just after he was out of sight they could hear the sound of his body flailing against the stairs and his feet would slide into view for a second. He would groan again and let out a little "ow" before he was up the stairs on all fours. He was in Jazilyn's office, breathing rather heavily, "Y-yes?" He looked around and realized he was the first there and waited as he caught his breath.

Jazilyn looked to him and said in a serious tone. "New Rule... Mornie... you are to walk to my office when called. I can't afford for you to kill yourself on my furniture. "

Nakara scooted closer to Mornie looking concerned.

Mornie nods, "Y-yes ma'am." He looks around and begins to wonder if that was the reason everyone was called into her office. He nervously smiles to Nakara and lets out a small nervous chuckle, turning a little red in the cheeks.

Jazilyn looked to them all and smiled a little. Her beautiful eyes seeming to glow in the dim light of her Lantern. "You are all here for various parts of a rather larger part of keeping our beloved city safe.... We have recently heard news that there is a rather... formidable group of demonic blooded mercenaries looking to... acquire new merchandise."

The group stayed silent while they waited to see what Jazilyn could possibly have in mind.

"Who out of you is willing to confront the demons head on?" Jazilyn asked looked at everyones faces. It was no surprise that Nakara was the one who stepped out without giving it a moments thought.

Jazilyn smiled, "As expected." She then looked around the room. "And who is brave enough to join our valiant princess?"

Mornie hesitated, but he stepped forward. He couldn't let Nakara go alone, even though he knew she could take care of herself. He also couldn't let her have all the fun. He looked a bit unsure as he stepped forward, but as he looked to Nakara and then Jazilyn his eyes turned to determination.

Jazilyn nodded, "As expected." She handed the two of them a thick leather envelope with something written inside, but they knew they were not to read that while in the presence of anyone else so Nakara took it and slid it into the loop of her loose fitting pants.

Jazilyns eyes then fell on Jasile, "And who will be playing the part of a defense human?"

The raven haired girl nodded and stood forward bowing her head low, "It would be an honor."

"As expected..." She then handed the girl an envlope and turned to Darious Aya and Brendt.

"You three already know your job then I take it?" Asked Jazilyn with an arched brow.

Aya was the one who spoke up, "Why change a working formula."

Jazilyn nodded. "Then it is settled. You will all head out in two days time. Enjoy your time off till then."

He nodded and smiled slightly. These kinds of meetings always got him pumped up. He waited to live with the others and made his way back downstairs to finish his meal. Moving slower and more carefully, he would pick up his chair and look around to make sure the boy had caused no trouble. If he didn't see any damages or oddities, he would take his seat and begin to eat again without a word. He was fighting to remain calm, though he was ready for the mission in his head. He knew that he and Nakara would go over the instructions soon, but he needed to wait till the boy was not there.

Nakara yawned and moved the knives off of her bunk and layed down fully dressed, not even bothering to finish her meal. "Ugh... This is going to be a pain."

He quickly and quietly finished his meal and looked at the boy a moment before looking over to Nakara, "Why is it a pain? I thought you liked to..." He held his tongue, not wanting to say it outloud at this point.

Nakara looked to the bunk above her as she spoke, she tapping her finger to a song that no one else seemed to hear, "It's winter... it's cold, and it is never as simple as it looks... If it was a simple job, she'd have self Ralph or Twizzle out on it... Gregory is going to hate me..." She yawned and nuzzled into her pillow.

The boy say there still as stone, he wasn't going to dare move until told other wise, but he was enjoying looking around their very dark room.

Mornie was never good at understanding others, despite the mouse boy being rather similar to himself, he didn't think to ask him what to do.

He tilts his head as he looks to Nakara, approaching her slowly and sitting on the edge of her bead for a moment, "And you would prefer it was simple, then? You don't usually like for it to be simple, because if it were simple you wouldn't have anything to do. I understand you don't like the cold, but if its a problem I can try to use some alchemy again..." He sighs a bit, "Even though I'm not very good at it yet."

He stands up slowly and stretches, "We can go over stuff in the morning and start getting ready, sound good?" He smiles a bit and quickly glances at the mouse and then back to Nakara, he had almost forgotten the boy was there.

**Nakara** Sat Jan 22, 2011 3:50 am

Nakara nodded as she looked over her shoulder to see the boy quietly amusing himself at the table.

"Hey, Squeeks, Go see if they need help in the kitchen and figure out where you are sleeping for the night." The boy jumped at her voice and looked around suddenly frightened .

"Yes...yes...yes... Yes... Ma'am" The boy whined as he dashed up the stairs leaving Nakara and Mornie by themselves.
